Google Apps in Middle School Science
Google is a great tool for collaboration and learning in a classroom. Student can create and share quickly and easily within a classroom. However, Google also provides other learning opportunities through the creation of Google Interactives. These simple projects are tasks for students to complete to improve their overall learning experience. Ideally students experience learning first, video, discussion or reading. After a new concept is addressed, then they can use the interactive to reinforce their learning. The example video to the right provides one way of creating a simple Google sort for use with your students. The key is locking instructions and background images in the background. Then leave all your learning elements as objects students can manipulate. If you are interested in learning more about this topics, here are some example learning activities I have created for my students.
